Hey there, music lovers. Here's your live music lineup through the weekend. A few things to note: big show at Coastal Kitchen with Col. Bruce Hampton, Greg Hester and Ambrosius on Saturday night ($10 admission), also very cool band, City Hotel, is in town at Palm Coast Coffee on Saturday night; Sunday night is the last Jazz in the Park concert at Neptune Park with Elisha "Atlas" Parris. If you feel like making a road trip up to Savannah, our friends Soul Gravy will be playing at Molly Macpherson's on Friday night. Get out there and shake your groove thing!

If country music is your thing, y'all should know all about the Rodney Atkins concert on Jekyll Sunday, but leading up to that event there's plenty to be found: Friday night, Kelly Ballard is at Locos, Courson Saunds is at The Doghouse, Chris Yates & the boys are playing a Bikinis & Boots Beach Party at Mulligan's, Brent Browning will be at Village Inn & Pub both Friday and Saturday, and Marjorie Lee is at Latitude 31 after the fireworks Saturday night. The festivities surrounding the Rodney Atkins concert start at noon on Jekyll with a beach party, with several local and regional musicians participating. It's gonna be a boot-stompin' kind of day!

If you're more Donnie than Marie, Dank Sinatra will be tearing it up at The Club Friday night. Soul Gravy will rock Murphy's. KnuckleDown, Backbeat Boulevard and Traveling Riverside Band all have gigs around town this weekend. Greg Hester brings a little soul to Zachry's on Sunday. If it's jazz you like, Sunday evening the Jackson Evans Quintet will be bringing their smooth grooves to Neptune Park for Jazz in the Park.

Live Music Lineup July 17-23

Hey, music lovers! It's new week and we're gearing up for another weekend of great shows. A couple special things to note: Leo Dean is feeling well enough to venture out and join Tony Adams at The Club at Bennie's, so stop by and say hello to the "old gang" on Thursday night.

Friday night Roy Gentry and the Hired Guns rock the house at the new Bottom Feeders (old Oyster Shak). The Stringrays have some special guests joining them at Gnat's Landing that night as well.

Saturday night is BIRTHDAY night! Chris Yates is playing his own birthday bash and celebrating some others at Marshside Grill -- give our favorite local country boy (and  Darin Harlow & Tal Stoddard too) some love. Michael Hulett is celebrating his mom's birthday and playing his last local performance before his vacation at Fireside Cafe. Knuckledown throws Susan Demoss a party for her birthday at Tipsy McSway's! Also on Saturday night, there's a Tom Petty tribute band called "Damn the Torpedoes" at The Club at Bennie's.

On Sunday, Kellie Parr's beautiful voice provides the perfect atmosphere for a Full Moon party on the Rooftop at Ocean Lodge. It's also Jazz in the Park at Neptune Park with Latin Jazz percussionist Sam Rodriguez, if you want to bring the family and a picnic to wind down your weekend. Go find the music that moves you!
