Live Music in the Golden Isles 7/10-7/16

Welcome back to the post-holiday groove, everybody. Here's the live music rundown with everything I've gotten so far. As always, there are usually additions or changes, so check the blog or the I'm With the Band Facebook page before you go out.

My suggestions this week? The Higher Choir, who will be at Murphy's doing an acoustic gig Thursday and rockin' out the house Friday and Saturday, sounds absolutely amazing. Solid Gold Thunder has picked up a weekly gig at Tipsy's on Thursdays and they're always a great time. Country boy Chris Yates will be playing during the Grand Opening of Bottom Feeders (the old Oyster Shak), which hopefully will be a great new music venue. This month's Second Sunday at Gascoigne features a highly anticipated Dawn Patrol reunion, the debut of Dave Raczynski's new band, Thunderbird, and a performance by up & comers The Future Electric, who were a big hit at Tipsy's.
